Happy First day of Brotemburghevus! Oh how I love the holiday season, especially all the presents! For the First day of Brotemburghevus my husebind gave me this collection of pages! He said I could use it for my enchantments and Lyricasting, it is bound only to open to me just like he is... He really is so romantic sometimes.
I just hope for the next present he decides to spend a few more shilliks, I mean, he is the Emperor ArchMage for crying out loud. And all he could get me was a few crummy **~*~*%*~*~** Oh, the parchment doesn’t let me talk bad about it... Interesting... I wonder... Your a doli*%~**%~ You don’t like that do you parchment? *%~ So the enchantment my dearest husebind used, must have created a soul for the parchment, in order to bind it to my own, very interesting.

...... are you there? ~~* Ok, today there were such wonderful celebrations throughout all of Enochballia! They had a parade for me and my dearest husebind, and the peasants all threw flowers and streamers and one person even threw a dead pheasant at us in celebration of our recent binding ritual. *%~ I know! This is going to be a good year.
Then we went back to the great hall where the Arch Mage of Andraki put on a show for our benefit. Did you see it? I tried to hold you up. ~~* Oh, good it was lovely wasn’t it? ~~*
I think the Emporer was very happy with my present to him this Brotemburghevus day, I got him a small fellix, that I resurrected from the battlefields where his father and brother were slain. Everyone cheered at the sight of the bird rising from the ashes off his father’s shield. I realy don’t know how I am going to trump that in two days though. *%~ I really need to think more ahead sometimes. ~~* Oh quiet you!
When I told Stathama about your soul he seemed surprised, I guess he isn’t as good of an Arch Mage as he thought. Even some enchantments still surprise him. Although he was pretty angry that I haven’t used you for casting yet ~~*

Then he makes some long winded overly pompous speech about giving back to the people and how he wanted to make a statement to the people, today. This the third day of Brotemburghevus, the day of my present receiving. This is the day he wants to make a statement, an act to the followers of his sanctum, that they come first. So on this day, he was going to take the shilliks he was going to use for MY PRESENT and give them to the people, for FOOD!

Oh Biki, ~~* I should have brought you with me today! I called a meeting of all the Nobles and their wifbinds today, for my Stathama's Bretomburghevus present.
I held a fabulous Brunch with stuffed Groosig and Tankerberry wine, enough to feed the whole sanctum. Before we ate, I made a lovely speech about how Stathama's demonstration yesterday inspired me so much. ~~~~~
I wanted this Brotemburghevus to be one that all of the people of Enochballia would remember for years to come. So I openedthe doors to the Great Hall and let all the Fellowship in. ~~~*%~ Yes! Then I went on to say, how these brethren of ours work so hard all their lives, making our food, clothes and houses. We should have the decency to spend at least one day doing something for them. So today, we served them the great feast I had prepared! *%~

Mecha-something, I don't remember, Coggers are so peculiar. Anyway, he has one of those metal hooves for me to ride, and he is working on a second one for Stathama so we can ride together. It is so wonderful! I LOVE BROTEMBUGRHEVUS!! ~~*
The mechamist, I think that is what they call them, he is a little odd, and displeasing to the eyes. ~%? Yeah, and speaking of eyes, he has these funny little things on them. I'm not sure what they are, but they make him look ridiculous. Oh well, as soon as he is done with my love's metal hooves then he can be back on his way to Cog.

Oh yeah! So there is this guy, who is all creepy and stuff. And I'm pretty sure he smells, although I haven't been close enough to him to be positive. It won't stop attacking anyone that wears the Enoch Crest. ~~~ What was I supposed to do, battlefield ashes aren't exactly labled! For all I know that fellix could be the reincarnation of five or six soldiers. I just scooped up some near Stathama's father's shield. And now that I think about it, I don't even think that was the right shield!

The Seventh Sun of Brotemburgh
Oh Biki, Stathama never came home last night from his hunting trip. I really hope all is well. ~ ~ *
I got into it again today with that sniveling little Cogger. I really can't beleive the nerve of him to yell at the Empress! He may not be one of my fellowship but I can still have him executed fro treason!
~ ~ * whhyyyyyy?~
He was angry I snuck into the stables last night and enchanted Stathama's hoof. He started yelling that I ruined the thing, I only messed up because he interrupted me during the crowing of the enchantment, and a little of my blood got mixed with the unicorns blood.
~ ~ * % whaaaaatt diid youuu doooooooo?% ~
Well I took one of the horns and blood of a unicorn from the sanctum's apothecary. I was going to try something new, metal and magic. ~ ~ ~
But that stupid Cogger Mechamist busted in on me, he said he thought I was a criminal. But he starteled me, and I cut my hand on the horn and my blood might have gotten a mixed in with the unicorns in the process. ~%!
I know it is bad enough I thought I was going to get in trouble for only being a level 12 Lyricaster and level 22 mage, you know they don't let you even study Haemocasting on animal blood until you are at LEAST level 30 mage, and have some other related proficiencies. But I had to go and throw human blood into the spell, and MY OWN!
I'm looking at quite a large punishment when my husebind gets back. ~ ~ * wwwwhat will happeeeeeennnnn?~ ~ I don't know that is up to Stathama, I hope he goes easy on me. There was this one mage that was banished for fusing his own blood with ~~*tooo the hooofff?%~~
Oh, I don't know. The intention was to give it the spirit and power of a unicorn... But now it has the spirit and power of a lyricaster, mage, woman, and unicorn. That is a deadly combination, I just hope they don't destroy it, it would be amazing to study. ~ ~ * doooeesss it feeeel?%*~
I don't know! See that is why I want to study it! Is it concious, the blood of the unicorn alone shouldn't have made it anything but obedient, faithful, and slightly self aware. But with my blood in there, does it have a concious now? Does it think, does it realize that the metals the mechamist is using totally clash? I should have it stained once it is finished so it matches Stathama's scepter and crown.

I've started working on my new Alchemy in Chimera Research class. It is a lot of fun, my teacher is a little bit... well odd... she is always staring at you Biki, have you noticed? ~ ~ *
Yeah well Professor Verata might be weird, but she is a really good teacher. The first day she assigned us to partners, she put me with this oaf named Odikorh. He is super annoying, all he talks about is this one guy that he used to run around with back when he was an off worlder named Campion. Seriously, he won't shut up about the guy, I think he has some sort of infatuation with him. Always talking about how he can kill men with just his voice, and about this one time they went through an entire cavern of thieves and bandits and Campion killed them all whilst unarmed.... Completely unarmed... ~ ~<3* Yes I agree Biki, that does sound quite delightful to watch, but I just wish he would SHUT UP sometimes!
I would ask the teacher to reassign us, but when it comes to the lessons, he is pretty good actually. He said he used to be a cook for some army offworld, I guess that explains his ability to mix and match and cook up potions and toxins pretty easy. ~ ~ *
She told us last week to think about the element we wanted to bring life to and today we had to start gathering. Odikorh and I chose earth since that would be pretty easy to gather. I got a few rocks, some mud and little bit of moss, and Odikorh collected a lot of sap, that he ate most of, and some flowers.
Tomorrow we are going to start preparations to create our companions. I'm so excited Biki, I'm going to go to bed now and get a good nights rest, I can't wait to start class tomorrow!

They sent another search party out for Stathama yesterday evening. I hope everything is alright, I find my self saying your enchantment anytime I pass a looking pond, just to catch a glimpse and make sure he is still alive. Is that pathetic Biki?

He has only been gone four days, but it feels like eternity, and I haven't seen the creepy guy in a few days either. *%! Oh Biki, why does everyone have to leave me?
Odikorh and I started our elemental chimera creations today. Professor Verata says those that pass this, will get to go on to the beast chimera research classes next term. Everyone else will have to take four more elemental and alchemy classes. I have to make this work, so I swapped my mud with Odikorh's sap, I convinced him that my moss elements would connect more to the sap, being that they are both from trees, and his flowers would adapt more to the dirt. He is so gullible, I just need the polymerization to connect the elements.

I went to the stables today to try and see what was going on with Stathama's metal hoof. Oh, Biki did you see it? *%~
It was amazing, it has started growing a heart!

I know! You can see it glowing through the glistening armor, and hear it's beat against the metal. And its eyes, they are made of emeralds from the Lycian Mountains, but inside of them... I could swear I saw an iris developing. She is by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen Biki! I can't wait till the Cogger is finished with her.

No, the Cogger came with me. I thought he wasn't going to, we argued for what seemed like days, and then I just left because I could take no more of his stench. I know he works with the more foul smelling elements, but that doesn't excuse HIM from smelling so foul. Especially in the royal court! But anyway, I thought he wasn't going to come and I would have to go alone. But sure enough, right as I showed up to the rendezvous there he was. Had it been anyone else I would have thought it heroic or romantic. But on him, he just obviously didn't have anything better to do.

The man had a chest to give me with a blood incantation on it. Said only my blood would break the seal. Do you know what that means Biki?
